It doesn't come as a surprise to you to realize that it makes no difference what yoead or study if you can't remember it. You just waste your valuable time. Maybe you he already discovered some clr ways to keep yourself from forgetting.
One dependable aid that does yoemember what you study is to he a specific pure or reason for reading. Yoemember better what yoead when you know why you're reading.
Why does a clerk in a store go away and lee you when your reply to her offer to is ―No, thank you. I'm just looking ? Both you and she know that if you aren't sure what you want, you are not likely to find it. But supe you say instead, ―Yes, thank you. I want a pair of sun glasses. She says, Right this way, please. And you and she are off-both eager to look for exactly what you want.
It's quite the same with your studying. If you choose a book at random(随意), ―just look for nothing in particular, you are likely to get just that-nothing. Because you know what you are reading or studying, yoelate the rmation to your pure and remember it better.
Reading is not one single activity. At least two important processes go on at the same time. As yoead, you take in ideas rapidly and accuray. But at the same time you express your own ideas to yourself as yoeact to what yoead. You he a kind of mental conversation with the author. If you express your ideas orally, they may sound like this: Yes, I agree. That's my opinion too. or ―Ummmm, I thought that record was broken much earlier. I'd better check those dates, or ―But there are some other facts to be considered! You don't just sit there taking in ideas-you do soming else, and that soming else is very important.
This extra process of thinking about what yoead includes judging it, relating it to what you already know, and using it for your own pures. In other words, a good reader is a critical reader. One part of critical reading, as you he discovered, is to distinguish(辨认)between facts and opinions. Facts can be checked by evidence(证据). Opinions are one's own personal reactions. Another part of critical reading is judging source(出处). Still another part is drawing accurate conclusions.
1.If you cannot remember what yoead or study______.
A. it is no surprise
B. it means you he not really learned anything
C. it means you he not chosen the right book
D. yoealize it is of no importance

5个W代表 when,where,who,what,why;1个H即how。 According to the passage,5W or 1H(when, where, who, what, why, how)________?Which of the following is typical of…?What is unique of…?例如:What are you encouraged to do when trelling in New Zealand?(2015江苏高考57题)Which of the following is typical of offensive anger?(2014江苏高考63题)题干中常出现一些表示人名、地名的专有名词;表示年份、数字、百分数等数词;大写的名词等定位词。例如:Why is June 6,1990 a special day for Mommy?(2014江苏高考65题)What can we learn from the Florida study?(2015江苏高考62题)解题时,学生可采用读题干、选项→读文章→做题目的方式,通过题干定位词,找出原文中与正确选项匹配的同义表述,确定正确选项。
By mentioning the Swiss study, the author intends to l us that ________.(2015江苏高考58题)What can be inferred from Mommy's Anglo family life?(2014江苏高考68题)解题原则为立足原文推论,忌掺杂主观臆断。
Consider that most famous economic rule of all:There's no such thing as a free lunch. Even if someone offers to take you out to lunch for free, the time you will spend in the restaurant still costs you soming in terms of forgone opportunities.
A Swiss study reported that while the weight of electronic goods represented by precious metals was relatively all in comparison to total waste, the concentration(含量) of gold and other precious metals was higher in so-called e-waste than in naturally occurring minerals.(2015江苏高考阅读B节选)分析:整句主干:“A Swiss study reported that…”(剩余部分为that宾语从句)宾语从句中主干:“the concentration of gold…occurring minerals.”“while the weight…to total waste”为宾语从句中的让步状语从句。其中“represented by precious metals”为定语修饰“the weight of electronic goods”“in comparison to total waste”为比较状语。
;
While I tend to buy a lot of books, these three were given to me as gifts, which might add to the meaning I attach to them. But I imagine that, while money is indeed wonderful and necessary, rereading an author’s work is the highest currency a reader can pay them. The best books are the ones that open further as time passes. But remember, it’s you that has to grow and read and reread in order to better understand your friends.1.
(与先读文At the end of this passage, the writer might continue to write_____章后看题目的比较)
a.表示并列关系:and;also;coupled with等
c.表示因果关系:therefor;thereby;consequently;as a result等
d.表示递进关系:in addition to;n;what'more;furthermore等
e.表示重要性的词: prime;above all;first等

B. you’d better talk with the person face to face常好地体现了时代精神和气质。

写作在立意方面维持了江苏高考的一贯高标准,转折关系(如 howr, nrtheless, noneless, still, though, yet, in spite of, at any rate, in any case, whor, whatr on the contrary, in contrast, by contrast, in comparison, by comparison, conversely, otherwise 等)。

In humans, babies can put a round shape in a round hole from around one year of age, but it will be another year before they are able to do the same with less symmetrical shapes. This ability to recognize that a shape will need to be turned in a specific direction before it will fit is called an "allocentric frame of reference". In the experiment, Goffin's cockatoos were able to select the right tool for the job, in most cases, by visual recognition alone. Where trial-and-error was used, the cockatoos did better than monkeys in similar tests. This indicates that Goffin's cockatoos do indeed sess an allocentric frame of reference when moving objects in space, similar to two-year-old babies.
