许昌电气职业技术学院是一所公办全日制普通高等职业学院，坐落于历史名城许昌。学院自2002年建院以来，秉承着“明德、博学、笃行、创新”的校训，致力于培养符合社会发展需求的高素质电气行业技术人才。

学院设有电气工程系、自动化系、计算机系、管理系和继续教育学院等五个系（院）。现有电子电工技术、计算机网络技术、工业机器人技术、电子商务、物流管理等10余个专业，涵盖电子信息、自动化控制、计算机科学、管理等领域。

学院拥有先进的教学设施和完善的实习实训基地。电气系设有电工电子技术实训中心、PLC实训中心、智能电网实训室等，自动化系设有工业自动化实训室、机器人实训室等，计算机系设有计算机网络实训室、网络安全实训室等。这些实训基地为学生提供了实践动手能力培养的平台，助力学生熟练掌握专业知识和技能。

学院注重产教融合，与多家企业合作建立了校企合作基地。学生在校期间可参与校内企业实训，毕业后可直接就业或升学深造。同时，学院还与中科院电工研究所、许昌市电业局等单位建立了产学研合作关系，共同开展技术研发、人才培养等项目。

许昌电气职业技术学院注重学生综合素质培养，每年举办各类校园文化活动，如电气技能竞赛、创新创业大赛等。学院还与国内外多所高校建立了合作关系，为学生提供出国交流学习的机会。
